Crystal Group was founded in 1960 by Pritam Singh Chaggar when the company began its operations by manufacturing rewireable switch fuse combination units and in 1957, was authorized by Siemens to manage their motor division tie-up for northern India. In 1960 he started the electrical safety products division by manufacturing rewirable switch fuses. In 1972, he further advanced the relationship with Siemens by becoming their official service station for the motor division. Due to his vision, hard work and determination, the group has achieved remarkable and consistent success in the electrical industry.
Today the leadership of the company is continued by his son Surjit Singh Chaggar who expanded the product range, manufacturing off-load changeover switches, and is now supported by Manmohan Singh Chaggar (Marketing Director) and Amrit Pal Singh Chaggar (Production Director) Arvinder Singh Chaggar (Technical Director). Crystal group companies today are ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 certified by International Certifications Limited, New Zealand.
